Security in the home is at risk especially during hotter days when people become more careless. In fact it is surprising how careless people are when it comes to home security. People still leave spare keys under the mat, above the doorframe or even under a plant pot next to the front door. Leaving a key outside your door like this is highly irresponsible and may even in some cases invalidate any insurance cover you think you have.

Recent studies show that most burglary happens when people are away from homes, regardless whether alarm systems are installed or not. Why, because the alarm won’t be alarming anyone within the hearing vicinity of the alarm. Especially true on houses that have expansive lots and neighbors with glass sealed windows.
